Our processing laboratories are the most advanced in Europe and offer:

• Grade 'B' (ISO 14644 class 5) clean rooms with Grade 'A' (ISO 14644 class 2) microbiological safety cabinets.
• Flow Cytometers (externally quality controlled by NEQAS) - each device has five colour assay.
• Stem cell volume reduction.
• Microbiological and environmental testing.
• Controlled rate freezing.
• Cryogenic storage.
• Sub sample storage for future testing.
• HLA typing to SSP or high resolution testing.
• ABO system and rhesus typing.
• Full virology testing.

We are also able to provide clients with their own dedicated and fully managed storage facility. For instance we currently provide this dedicated service for Plymouth NHS Trust which has recently outsourced its entire stem cell processing operation to us.
