BioVault is the largest private human tissue bank in the UK and the only one storing for both the private and public sectors.  We are based in Plymouth on the medical campus of Derriford Hospital, Europe's 4th largest teaching hospital.

The company was set up in 2002 to serve public and private health sectors looking to outsource the processing and storage of human tissue to an accredited, trusted and experienced expert.

Storing for human application, we now process and store human tissue and human tissue derived stem cells for the Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust and organisations all over the world.  We are the only private human tissue bank of any true scale in the UK with the ability to store well over 1 million 25ml blood and stem cell samples on one site.
